Cheyenne NWS: Watch For Snow Squalls, Possible Whiteouts

The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning about possible heavy snow squalls and whiteout conditions Wednesday afternoon and evening.

The agency posted this statement on it's Facebook page on Wednesday:

'Localized heavy snow squalls likely early this afternoon through early evening in the red area.Localized quick WHITEOUT conditions possible in the heaviest of bands along I-25 & I-80!Roads remain warm enough for limited accumulation but visibility may drop to ZERO very quickly. #WYwx''
