It's a little bit early to know for sure, but the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says there is a very good chance that southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle will get a white Christmas in 2019.

The agency posted this statement on it's website:

''Are you dreaming of a white Christmas? Those of you in southeast Wyoming and the western Nebraska Panhandle may get your wish! A developing winter storm system may impact the region Christmas Day. There is still considerable uncertainty with the track and intensity of the storm as it draws closer. Holiday travel may become hazardous with slick roads and poor visibility. Those with travel plans on Christmas Day should stay tuned to the latest forecasts and consider adjusting travel plans if necessary."
