Cheyenne Man Died Playing Russian Roulette, Deputies Say

Laramie County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Capt. Linda Gesell says the shooting death of a Cheyenne man was likely an accident.

Deputies were called to the 13000 block of Stewart Road around 1:15 p.m. ​on July 27 to find 21-year-old Gaven Stundon with a gunshot wound to his head.

Stundon was taken to the hospital​ where he was later taken off life support.

Gesell says evidence suggests Stundon shot himself while playing a game of Russian roulette.

"(It) likely will be accidental, but we have not received the medical examiner's report yet," said Gesell.
