UPDATE: Cheyenne Cops Release Photo of Suspect in Machete Threat
Cheyenne police have released a photo of the man accused of threatening a group of workers with a machete Tuesday morning.
Officer Kevin Malatesta says the incident happened around 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Central Avenue and E. 19th Street.
Malatesta says the man (pictured above) used a machete to threaten a group of workers painting a crosswalk. He fled before police arrived.
The man was described as a barefoot white man with dark hair, weighing about 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt and dark shorts.
Anyone who recognizes the man or knows his whereabouts is asked to call the Laramie County Combined Communications Center at (307) 637-6525.
Cheyenne police are looking for a man who they say threatened a group of workers with a machete.

"A white male with a gray shirt, no shoes, dark shorts, dark hair and approximately 250 pounds used a machete to threaten a group of workers painting a crosswalk," said Malatesta.
Malatesta says the man fled before officers arrived.
