The National Weather Service in Cheyenne issued the following statement Thursday afternoon:

April 29th 1:40 PM – Sunny and dry conditions continue tomorrow across southeast Wyoming and the western Nebraska Panhandle. While we are holding steady with high temperatures reaching mid 70s to upper 80s, this won’t last long! Starting Sunday morning as chances of showers increase throughout the week while we cool down to the mid 40s to lower 50s Monday afternoon. Short periods of showers will continue next week and some areas west of I-25 could receive rain/snow mix starting Monday evening.
