Summer Fun the Albany County Library has great kids activities all summer long.

Children Storytimes will be held at the library at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. each Thursday beginning June 9.

Stories @ the Parks will be held at local parks. We’ll post the schedule on our website shortly.

The Summer Reading Challenge will run from June 7 – August 31. Sign up at the library to get your Summer Reading Passport. Keep track of your reading, build up your skills, and win prizes for completing each level. Complete all six levels and receive entry coupons for the Grand Prize Drawing on August 3rd. Some Grand Prizes include: (1) National Parks Pass ($80 value!); tickets to a Cowboys football game; (2) day passes to Elitch Gardens ($82 value!) ...and many more!

Craft from Around the World on Tuesdays at 2 p.m. children are invited to create a craft from around the world.

Harry Potter Film Series:  Everyone is invited to the Harry Potter film series. Bring your bean bag to be more comfortable. All movies are free and begin at 6 p.m. Movies are shown on June 3 (#3), 10 (#4), 17 (#5), July 1 (#6), 8 (#7) The Albany County Public Library is located at 310 S. 8th, in Laramie and is open Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday through Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, please call 721-2580 or visit the Albany County Library website at www.albanycountylibrary.org.
