80 Degrees Possible In SE Wyoming Tuesday, Then Rain/Snow

The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says temperatures could hit 80 degrees in some areas of southeast Wyoming on Tuesday before another cold front brings rain and snow into the area on Tuesday night.

The agency posted this statement on its website:

It's shaping up to be a fairly active week weatherwise. Today will feature milder temperatures along with breezy conditions. Winds will increase Tuesday ahead of an approaching Pacific cold front. It will be warm for the high plains with highs in the 70s. There could be a few locations that reach 80 degrees! The cold front sweeps through the area Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning, bringing scattered rain and snow showers. Elevations above 8000 feet could see a couple inches of snow. It will be breezy and cooler for Wednesday, then warm up on Thursday. The next Pacific cold front to bring unsettled weather arrives Friday, with a good chance for showers and a few thunderstorms. It will continue warm for the high plains, with cooler temperatures west of the Laramie Range.
