41st Annual Huck Finn Fishing Deby held in Laramie Wyoming
This Saturday marks the 41st annual Huck Finn Fishing Derby at Huck Finn Pond. All kids 13 and under are welcome to try their luck fishing for prizes. Prizes include: Biggest Fish, Biggest Fish Free Mounting from Colby's Custom Taxidermy, Prizes Galore! Free Worms, Free Coupons, and Free Pepsi!
The fishing derby has always been a great Father-Son, Mother-Daughter event. The derby starts at 11 am and ends at 2 pm. FREE to all kids 13 and under, 5 prizes in 5 age groups and FREE Huck Finn t-shirts as well.
KOWB and KCGY will have Live Broadcasts! announcing winners all day! So please come out and get some cool fishing stuff!
“(Turnout’s) always good, and everything is free,” Hoefer said. “It’s a tradition the kids and parents just love, and we’ve got tons of prizes to give away.”
“We just feel as a radio station we need to be involved in the community, and we love kids,” Hoefer said. “Looking around, you can see that the kids love this.”
