It's seriously tempting. Just a short drive outside of Laramie sits a Historic Landmark, and it's for sale! The First National Bank of Rock River was built in 1919, as the local economy buzzed with oil boom money and needed a secure place to store it. It has served as a doctor's office, apartments, the town jail, the fire station, and even the town library. This old building has seen a lot in its day, and it's for sale for a measly $110,000.

Don't believe me, check out the listing on Zillow.

Sure it might need some love and a lot of renovation, but just look at that original bank vault! It's also listed as a national historic landmark, still close enough to drive to Laramie, and you won't have many neighbors, since Rock River boasts a population of only 249 as of the last census. If you like the rural life and a little history, this might be the place for you.
