A 55-year-old Wyoming man is dead following a weekend motorcycle crash northwest of Green River.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol says Randy Lowseth was headed south on Wyoming Highway 372 around 4:05 p.m. Saturday when he wrecked his motorcycle near mile marker 14.

Lowseth, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from the bike and died at the scene.

Witnesses told the Patrol that Lowseth was speeding excessively prior to the crash.
