Average retail gasoline prices in Wyoming have fallen 3.5 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $1.66/g yesterday, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 494 gas outlets in Wyoming. This compares with the national average that has fallen 3.9 cents per gallon in the last week to $1.69/g, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com.

Including the change in gas prices in Wyoming during the past week, prices yesterday were 32.0 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 21.8 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average has decreased 23.0 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 55.5 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.

Additionally, their Spring turnarounds and the changeover to summer spec gasoline also loom ominously on the horizon. The sooner the refineries can complete their maintenance and start producing gasoline again the better for drivers everywhere,” said Jeff Pelton, a GasBuddy.com senior petroleum analyst.
