Andrew Harris made history last year, becoming the first person with Down Syndrome to conquer Grand Teton. Now, the mountain climber, also known by the nickname "Bob", is being profiled for the new documentary film "Ducky Goes Up".

Producers plan to distribute the full-length movie within the Down Syndrome community, in the hopes that Bob's journey will inspire other people with disabilities to pursue outdoor recreation.

"We're making a movie for Bob and his peers," Bob's brother-in-law and filmmaker Max Hammer said. "We want to reach out to people with Down syndrome, their families, friends, and communities and show that people with Down syndrome are not only immensely capable physically and mentally, they deserve some media attention that speaks directly to them and encourages them to choose the good stuff in life."

Along with his 13,776-foot climb to the summit of Grand Teton, the film will also feature footage of Bob hiking, running, and skateboarding, and will offer healthy recipes and tips for leading an active lifestyle.

The family recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the project. They've already passed their original goal of $49,000 and plan to release the movie next summer. Read more about the film, and watch the first trailer, here.
