A winter weather advisory has replaced the winter storm watch for the Laramie Valley issued Wednesday by the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.

The advisory will remain in effect from midnight Thursday through 6 a.m. Saturday.

Three to six inches of snow is expected for the cities of Arlington, Elk Mountain, Bosler and Laramie.

Southeast winds of 10 to 20 mph are expected for Thursday evening. Visibilities will decrease to less than half a mile at times.

Travelers will feel the greatest impact. According to the advisory, roadways will become slick and snow covered, especially at night.
