Wyoming Cowboy home football games can make Laramie a busy place during the fall. Thursday, UW announced the start times for their six home football dates in 2012.

In the past, fans have voiced their opinions about kick-off times, and university officials have listened. Take for example last season, when the final four home games all kicked-off at noon. This season looks to be different,as none of the games will be at noon. Here's a look at all six home dates, including the special activities that go along with them:

The Cowboys kick off the home schedule on Saturday, Sept. 8 versus Toledo in a game set to begin at 2 p.m., with the Buddy Walk taking place earlier that day.

On Sept. 15, Cal Poly will come to town for the first time on a busy weekend that will include Hall of Fame Weekend, Ag Appreciation Day, Band Day and Campus Pass. That game will kick at 4 p.m.

Homecoming will be on Oct. 13 versus Air Force. That will also be Military Day, and fans will have time to enjoy all the Homecoming and Military Day festivities prior to a 5 p.m. kickoff.

Breast Cancer Awareness will be held in conjunction with the Boise State game on Oct. 27 in a game to begin at 1:30 p.m.

The Border War versus Colorado State will kick off at 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 3, and the home schedule with conclude with a 1:30 p.m. kickoff versus San Diego State on Nov. 24, which will be Senior Day for the Wyoming Cowboy football seniors.

Now a home football Saturday can different meaning to different people in the community. Whether you look at it from a fans perspective or a business perspective, these six dates certainly have an impact on Laramie.
