Where Does Laramie Find Information About Smoke in the Air? – Ask the City

Your Question:

When Laramie is smoky from area fires, why is there NO NEWS available whatsoever about what is going on? I and other residents want to know where the smoke is coming from - new fires, ongoing fires...? Clearly the area news sources (Boomerang, Laramie Live) are not going to cover these issues. City officials need to coordinate with USFS to let city residents know what is going on in a timely fashion.

The City's Response:

A coordinated effort between the City of Laramie and Albany County Emergency Management will result in proactive distribution of information of this nature. Updates will be posted on the County website, City website and both entities Facebook pages.
