The area around the main stage was packed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, but there were still a lot of rumblings about the fact that it was Laramie Jubilee Days and the street dance was not on the street.  This year the street dances took place in the parking lot near the 1st Street Plaza instead of on the corner of 2nd and Grand as in previous years.

Organizers of the event said that the changes were part of an effort to make Jubilee Days more family friendly and open up parking downtown. Commander Mitch Cushman of the Laramie Police Department said that 91 calls were made to the downtown area, which he said is about average for Jubilee Days.

We want to know what you think. Was the move to the parking lot the right thing to do or a bad idea for Laramie Jubilee Days?
