Here is the University of Wyoming campus schedule of events July 14-19.

Wednesday, July 16, 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. -- The classic rock band The Flashbacks will perform for the UW Summer Programs concert series on Simpson Plaza. Free.

Wednesday, July 16, 7:30 p.m. -- The Laramie Municipal Band, directed by UW Professor Robert Belser, performs at 7:30 p.m. at the Edgar Lewis band shell in Washington Park. Free.

Thursday, July 17, 1 p.m. -- Best-selling author C.J. Box will read from and sign copies of his new novel, “Shots Fired,” UW American Heritage Center Stock Growers’ Room, 2111 Willett Drive. Free.

Saturday, July 19, 9:30 a.m. -- UW Extension’s “Native Plant Walk,” Libby Flats observation site. Free. To RSVP, call (307) 721-2571 or email kelliec@uwyo.edu.

A variety of exhibitions can be seen at the UW Art Museum in the Centennial Complex, 2111 Willett Drive, which is open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Free.

Dinosaur skeletons, ancient mammal fossils and other exhibits are on display in the UW Geological Museum, open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Free.

The UW Department of Botany’s Williams Conservatory is open to the public from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Fridays. Free.
