“Happy Holidays, Laramie!” presents musical performances, an art exhibition and refreshments from 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the University of Wyoming Art Museum.

The event features music performed by school and community groups and artwork by Albany County students. Children are invited to be photographed with Santa and create their own ornaments, cards and other holiday decorations in the Shelton Studio. The winner of the Festival of Trees “People’s Choice Award,” will be announced.

“This event is our premier community celebration,” says Wendy Bredehoft, Art Museum education curator. “It is a time when entire families come together to enjoy the sights and sounds of the holidays and to recognize the artistic accomplishments of Albany County students.”
