Two instructional technologists in the University of Wyoming’s Outreach School will demonstrate ways to use innovative technologies in online classrooms during a webinar Monday, April 21, at 11 a.m.

Athena Kennedy and Cody Connor will present “Instructor Engagement: Building Trust with Innovative Technology,” hosted by EDUCAUSE, a nonprofit association that advances higher education through the use of information technology.

Through multimedia technologies such as Popcorn Maker, Pinterest and TED-Ed, online instructors can build trust with their students, Kennedy and Connor say. They intend for webinar participants “to leave this session empowered to integrate innovative technologies into their online classrooms.”

An invitation to present was extended to Kennedy and Connor after an EDUCAUSE representative attended their session at the 2013 Colorado Learning and Teaching with Technology conference.
