The University of Wyoming is set to hand out almost 1,800 degrees during their spring commencement ceremonies. Helping to ring in the occasion will be Wyoming first lady Carol Mead and NBC news correspondent Pete Williams, who will be among speakers during the ceremonies.

The bulk of the ceremonies will take place in Laramie May 3-5 and UW as well as the City of Laramie are already warning of the possible traffic disruptions. The main hiccup will likely be caused by the construction at 30th and Grand. UW recommends that visitors do not use the Grand Avenue exit from I-80, but instead utilize the 3rd Street or Curtis Street exits.

If you do end up having to negotiate the intersection at 30th and Grand, there are two detours available which can be viewed by clicking here. The City of Laramie ensures that all businesses located in and near the intersection will remain open and accessible throughout the weekend.
