Once a year, United Way Albany County, embarks on a campaign to fund agencies with deliver aid within Albany County. For the 2011 Capital Campaign, they are raising funds for 14 local agencies with a goal of $375,000, 99 percent of which stay in Albany County.

Since 2000, the Capital Campaign has reached or surpassed its goal every year. Although this year's goal is the largest it's ever been, they did raise over $375,000 in '07 and '08.

The 14 local agencies include the Albany County Branch/Wyoming State Chapter American Red Cross, Ark Regional Services, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Developmental Preschool & Day Care Center, Downtown Clinic, Eppson Center for Seniors, Hospice of Laramie, Interfaith/Good Samaritan, Laramie Head Start, Laramie Reproductive Health, Laramie Soup Kitchen, Laramie Youth Crisis Center, Peak Wellness Center and SAFE Project.
