Union Fest, the annual year-end celebration for University of Wyoming students, is Friday, May 8, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in Simpson Plaza and Prexy’s Pasture.

Union Fest is an opportunity for students to celebrate the end of the academic year. The Wyoming Union partners with other campus departments and student organizations to host the annual event. Activities include free food, game stations, prizes, disc golf and therapy dogs.

The Associated Students of UW will provide tacos for lunch. Friday Night Fever will offer a mechanical bull, a photo booth and hamster wheel races. Student Activities Council also will host Dead Floyd, a tribute band to the Grateful Dead and Pink Floyd. The band will perform from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. during Union Fest.

All UW students are encouraged to join in on the fun. In case of cold weather, activities will be located inside the Wyoming Union on the first floor and lower level.
