A broken water line has left residents Rock River in Albany County without water for an unknown amount of time.

Aimee Binning, Albany County Emergency Management Coordinator, says the town has been without water since Wednesday morning. She says efforts to repair the line are underway, but it is not known when residents will have water restored.

Binning traveled to Rock River yesterday to provide residents with bottled water.

According to an Associated Press Report, Rock River Mayor CJ Leslie says Chief Water Operator Bruce Jones and his team couldn't determine the source of the problem, but they were working on figuring it out.

Leslie says the town has about 245 residents, who have been understanding of the situation.
