The third annual Jazz Night at the Depot is gearing up to be a grand celebration. In a year in which the Albany County Public Library (ACPL) is celebrating 125 years, the night will feature the jazz stylings of Peter Queal, cash bar and hors d'oeu by Caterings of Laramie and a book-themed silent auction to raise money for the ACPL Foundation.

The event will be held Friday, April 13th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Historic Train Depot. Tickets are on sale now at the library. The cost is $40 per person or $75 per couple. All proceeds go to support Laramie's public library.

The silent auction will include great books, spa packages, artwork, an airplane ride over the Laramie Valley, a ski-in condo in Teton Village, a cabin in Cody and many other items donated by local supporters. The music will be local too. Queal is a Laramie-based jazz guitarist and vocalist that teaches jazz guitar at the University of Wyoming and guitar ensemble at Laramie High School. Check out a performance of his with Bill Plummer in the video below.

The ACPL Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that raises money and solicits donations to support the library.
