Laramie's airport is very small and at first glance you may think that being there 30 minutes before your flight is enough. However the airport asks that you show up one hour before your flight. With fewer employees to check bags and get you through the security checkpoint, things can run a little slower than you would expect. Many times the person checking you in at the counter is also guiding in your plane and loading the bags once it arrives.

While sometimes expensive, flying in and out of Laramie does have a few big up-sides. For one it is convenient as you won't have to drive to a bigger city like Denver, and you can practically park right next to the airport door in their free long-term parking.
