The "Taste of the Town" is a fundraiser for Laramie Main Street, it highlights our unique, local restaurants in our historic downtown district. Laramie Main Street receives 10% of the sales and uses that money to help preserve the historic downtown as well as helping the economy and our downtown unique atmosphere.

This coming Monday the "Taste of the Town" will be held at Third Street Bar and Grill at the corner of 3rd and Grand (216 East Grand Avenue). Dennis is co-owner and a commercial fisherman out of Alaska. He will be serving his specialty, fresh wild Alaskan smoked salmon with bagels and cream cheese for $6. They also have a great bar menu with great appetizers for you to try.

Also take advantage of happy hour on Monday night, buy your first drink and the second is on the house (limit one per person). Monday night the Rockies play the Giants this will be a good end to your Monday!

Coming up next month's "Taste of the Town" will feature Night Heron Books and Coffeeshop at 107 Ivinson Street, downtown Laramie.
