This month Taste of the Town is being held at the Mexican restaurant El Zarape in downtown Laramie. If you have never gotten a taste of El Zarape's authentic Mexican food head on over Wednesday, March 30th from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Remember that Taste of the Town is a fundraiser for the Laramie Main Street Program so not only are you supporting a great local business but also the restoration and preservation of the Laramie Downtown. In case your wondering here is what people have been saying about El Zarape lately:

"I ate here yesterday, and thought the food was very good. It's a small, cozy restaurant, with helpful staff. I had a chicken torta, and it was excellent. I was just disappointed that they were out of the fried beef strips (I don't remember the name)- my friend says that they never have it available when she goes there."

"I'm a big fan of this place's giant burritos! For $5 you get about 2 pounds of food!! The spicy chicken burrito is by far the best thing ever. The tortillas are home made and you can definitely taste it! YUMMMM!!!! I've had the tamales and tried the green chili. Eh...they're ok. The burritos really are the stars in this place. I can see why some locals haven't tried it - it's a little scary looking from the street. But the owner is very friendly, the kitchen is open and clean. We just take out so we don't sit in the restaurant."
