A portion of Interstate 80 in Wyoming was closed as of 9;30 a.m. Friday, while strong winds had prompted restrictions for light, high profile vehicles over another stretch of I-80.
A Wyoming Department of Transportation snowplow driver was injured Sunday morning when they were hit by a semi on Interstate 80, the Wyoming Highway Patrol says.
As of 9 a.m. on Monday, large stretches of Interstate 80 in Wyoming were totally or partially closed, according to the WYDOT road and travel conditions website
While road closures can be frustrating, the Wyoming Department of Transportation says ignoring them is not only dangerous it can delay the opening of the roads.
