Your Question:
What is the city doing to the road on Ivinson between 9th and 15th? In the future would the city give notice when major portions of roads are going to be closed.
You might have noticed that there was a substantial amount of construction work that took place around Laramie this summer and it is for good reason. It seems like there are "Infrastructure Improvement" signs all over town. We got a chance to sit down with the city of Laramie's Mayor, Scott Mullner, and here is what he had to say about his first year in office as well as all of the projects going on across town.
Your Question:
When is someone going to come out and clean up all the debris left over from the construction on 9th St. I feel like I have to swerve up and down the street just to avoid hitting things. Also there is a section of road that is not cemented over from the construction of houses along 9th. Can anything be done about that?
Your Question:
What is going on with the construction on 9th? Its kind of ridiculous that it is not finished yet. There is no reason that it should take this long especially since the entire street is closed and they don't have to worry about traffic.
Your Question:
Why is it that when Vista Drive was tore up the company that was doing the repairs did not have safety flaggers to help direct the traffic? Also who is responsible for noxious weed control along this stretch of road?

A few days ago I was headed to Denver and noticed that WYDOT had just finished putting up some brand new dynamic speed limit signs between Laramie & Cheyenne on I-80; you might recognize these from the ones installed between Laramie & Rawlins two years ago. Honestly my first thought was "Oh no are they going to lower the speed to the seasonal 65 MPH like they ha
Your Question:
What is taking the contractors so long to finish the construction on 9th st? There have been times that I have gone by on a weekday and there is no one working on it. It almost seems like they are drawing the time frame out to reap more money on the job. (I dont know that for sure) It seems to me that they would be there everyday to get the job done.
Be sure to slow down on Interstate 80 near the Grand Avenue Interchange. WYDOT has sent a crew there to improve the lighting for the intersection. The speed limit will be lowered to 65 miles per hour and there will be sporadic single lane closures into October.
