The blue route would not seem to make sense as it would be only a couple of blocks from Curtis Street which already crosses the river and provides several access options to West Laramie.

WYDOT reports that they have begun the process of repairing the section of WYO 130 that washed out in last spring's heavy run-off. You might remember that at the time of the washout back on July 19th a Colorado family was traveling on the road during the incident. Their car was caught in the washout killing three family members.

Last night Laramie's Mayor, Scott Mullner, held a public meeting to talk about the proposed alternatives that will hopefully replace the old Clark Street Bridge. Replacement of the bridge that was built back in 1963 has actually been a topic of discussion since 1997 as it nearing the end of it's life span, but so far no action has succeeded in making a new bridge a reality. However it looks like a final solution may finally be chosen this summer with the completion of an environmental assessment on the three remaining proposed alignments for a new bridge.

Richard Elliot, director of public works for the City of Laramie, told us that a large water main break of a 12" cast iron pipe at the corner of 15th Street & Ord was the cause of a loss in pressure to parts of the city.
