A man charged with possession of a controlled substance pleaded not guilty in Albany County District Court yesterday.

Friday, prosecutors amended the penalties for production of child pornography from a minimum of 35 years of imprisonment to automatic life imprisonment.

Breyfogle pleaded not guilty to two counts possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession with intent to deliver in Albany County District Court Tuesday.

According to court documents, the Laramie Police Department found the steroids when they executed a search warrant of Addison’s home on Oct. 26 in relation to sexual assault allegations.

The move is intended to bring Laramie into line with state statues regarding first offender treatments for controlled substance defendants in municipal court.

Police say the marijuana and oil had an estimated street value of $290,000.

Nathaniel Jeffrey Kennaday will serve two years of supervised probation. Albany County District Judge Tori Kricken also ordered Kennaday to complete a level 1.0 outpatient drug treatment program.
