Friday Night Fever

Hypnotist chrisjones will perform at the University of Wyoming Friday, February 20th at 9:00 p.m. in the Wyoming Union Ballroom.

The University of Wyoming’s Friday Night Fever program will offer a free laser tag event Friday, Jan. 30, from 9 p.m.-midnight at All Points West Laser Tag Family Fun Center, located at 1560 Snowy Range Road.

An opportunity to experience different world customs will be offered during International Night Friday, Nov. 21, at 9 p.m. in the lower level of the University of Wyoming Union. The event is free and open to the public.

A Comedy show is coming to the University of Wyoming Union Ballroom.

University of Wyoming students can ice skate for free starting at 8 p.m. Friday, March 1, at the Laramie Ice and Events Center, 3510 Garfield St

If you thought condoms had a limited purpose, think again! Clothes, made of condoms? That's not something you see every day, but that is just what you will experience if you can get past the slight awkwardness and attend the Condom Couture Fashion Show. Friday Night Fever and FACE AIDS are teaming up for a night of high fashion and fun on Friday, March 23 in the Union Ballroom at 9PM.

While American Idol may be sweeping the nation, UW Idol is sweeping the campus. Over 300 people packed themselves into the Union Ballroom last Friday night to witness the initial, open-call auditions for UW Idol. One hundred students were each allowed to sing a thirty second a cappella excerpt from a song of their choice.

If you are an Americam Idol fan, then you probably know that a new series of the national hit TV series kicked off a brand new season last night on FOX. What you might not know is that the University of Wyoming hosts and Idol series of their own that is pretty entertaining as well.

If you are a University of Wyoming student here is an event you shouldn't mis out on; Friday Night Fever's Destressor. If finals have you a little frazzled then take a break and come unwind beginning at 9 PM, Friday, December 2nd in the Wyoming Union. Even if you really aren't a fan of some of the events that Friday Night Fever normally puts on, I can tell you that this one is worth taking the time to be at.

Every Friday night the University of Wyoming offers students some form of entertainment through the Friday Night Fever student group. However most of the time these events are open to the public as well, which is the case with this event. International night offers University of Wyoming students and the public an opportunity to experience cultures of the world.
