Anyone who drinks should be sure to designate a sober driver.

A portion of Cedar Street between Curtis Street and Clark Street will close for several weeks beginning Tuesday, Sept. 5.

Engineering News-Record Mountain States announced earlier this month that the High Bay facility was selected to be honored as part of its 17th year of the ENR Mountain States project awards.

Construction began in July 2016, and is scheduled to be finished by October 2019.

Move-in day for University of Wyoming students is Monday, Aug. 28 and the City of Laramie is working to get the intersection on 15th and Grand Avenue open before students start arriving.

In the next two-year budget cycle, the shortfall is projected to reach $97.7 million per year.

The city of Laramie has added two road construction projects to their initial list.

Karen Tangeman, engineering technician for the Public Works department, said while some of the projects are slated to be completed in the fall, their start dates had not yet been determined. She said the city would be providing updates as soon as they were available.
