With the New Year swiftly approaching, the Laramie Landfill is now accepting natural trees for disposal and composting. Laramie Interfaith will pick up your tree for a donation from January 3-7. In order to have your tree picked up, please visit Laramie Interfaith's website or call 307-742-4240...

On Saturday, May 22, Albany County residents are invited to get some free compost from 9am-3pm at the landfill. This does not include businesses, institutions, or organizations. If you cannot make it to the free day, compost can be purchased for $25 per ton or $1 per 80lbs during landfill hours...

In celebration of Composting Awareness Week, The Laramie Landfill will be offering free compost on Saturday, May 16.

The City of Laramie Recycling Program had its biggest year in 2014, recycling and diverting over 4.5 million pounds of materials.

The City of Laramie began their Compost Pilot Program in July 2009, and it continues this summer.
