Harlem Ambassadors in Gem City for Fun Fundraiser

At this time of year basketball can dominate the headlines for any number of reasons. When it goes to help out a great cause, that's when the highlights really start. The Rotary Club of Laramie is proud to announce a match-up between the Harlem Ambassadors and the Gem City Travelers in a volunteer fundraising basketball event March 25th at the Laramie Plains Civic Center south gymnasium. All the fun is set to start at 7 p.m. Monday.

Big Laramie Duck Race Moved to Huck Finn Pond

Drought conditions in Wyoming mean that rivers are running a little lower these days, so the 8th Annual Big Laramie Duck Race will be at Huck Finn Pond in LaPrele Park this year. A 12-horsepower generator is going to be used to make a stream for the rubber ducks to race down, with the winner getting a prize of $1,000.
