The Snowy Range Music Festival has added their headliner for Sunday and it's a fantastic flashback to the 80's. Huey Lewis And The News will perform at the Albany County Fairgrounds on Sunday, Sept. 2 at 11 a.m.

After a one year hiatus, the 7220 Slamfest is back and revamped. The demolition derby has been moved to the end of June and will feature trucks as well as full size and compact cars. The 7220 Slamfest will take place at the Albany County Fairgrounds on June 30 at 4 p.m.

The 19th Annual Albany County Home Show is complete, and we have to say thank you to so many people who helped put on the biggest home show Albany County has ever seen. Not only did we have over 60 vendors show up for both days of the show, but they had some great giveaways in their booths in addition to the great services, products and advice.

In the continuing quest to remove wolves in Wyoming from the federal list of endangered species, the Game and Fish has drafted new regulations covering wolf management and wolf hunting. The draft regulations will be presented in Laramie on Wednesday, March 28th at 6 p.m. in the Albany County Fairgrounds Cafeteria.

Among all the events and things to look forward to in the coming weeks, one that stands out is the Spring Bazaar from the non-profit organization Xi Beta.

You'll find an expert to answer these questions at the 2012 Laramie Conservation Expo. The free event will take place on Saturday, February 25, from 9 am to 3 pm at the Albany County Fairgrounds Activity Center.

There will be fun for all ages at the 51st annual Albany County 4-H Carnival this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Albany County Fairgrounds. The major fundraiser carries the theme of "classic bands" which will be seen in decorations and games filling the activities building.
