Stock Predicts Changes At UW

Laramie County School District#1 Superintendent Mark stock, who will soon be taking a position at the University of Wyoming, is forecasting "major changes" at the university.

Stock says the changes began with a "housecleaning" of staff by former President Robert Sternberg. Even though Sternberg is no longer with the school, Stock says his conversations with professors at the University lead him to believe more change is looming.

Stock says he thinks that's especially true in the College of Education. He says interim Education Dean Micheal Day realizes "that they need to make some changes, they really do".

Stock will be teaching masters and doctorate level courses for school administrators and helping to develop a center to offer advanced training for principals.
