As of 7:15 a.m. Monday neither of the major interstate highways in southeast Wyoming was closed.

But according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation, many sections of both Interstates 25 and 80 were reporting snowfall, slick conditions and some fog.

Travelers are being advised to check the latest travel conditions before hitting the highway in southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle through early Tuesday morning. You can see the latest Wyoming Department of Transportation road report here.

The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service had posted a winter weather advisory for most of the region, with a winter storm warning in effect for a few areas.
