An already young and inexperienced secondary just got younger for the Wyoming Cowboys with the announcement of a departure.

University of Wyoming head football coach Craig Bohl announced on Thursday that sophomore cornerback Ryon’e Winters is leaving the program for personal reasons.

Winters appeared in nine games as a true freshman in 2014, primarily on special teams.  He was credited with four tackles on the season.

Winters played his prep football at Grandview High School in Grandview, Missouri.
