"Yes, this entire section of roadway has now been designated as a school zone. In recent years, it has been determined that this area required safety improvements. When analyzing school zones and other safety considerations, there was only one block that wasn't designated as a school zone. Since this area was adjacent to a school, it was determined to be in the community's best interest to change this entire section into a school zone. This modification will aid in driver compliance and improve pedestrian safety."
