One of the Denver teens accused of leading law enforcement on a chase through Colorado and Wyoming was not present for his arraignment in Albany County District Court Thursday.

Lantz Ream-Dickerson did not appear before Judge Jeffery Donnell at 10:30 a.m. Thursday as scheduled, because he is currently incarcerated in Colorado after turning himself in on a warrant.  The warrant for his arrest was issued after his probation was revoked.

Ream-Dickerson’s co-defendant, Stephanie N. Millsaps, did appear in court for her arraignment on Thursday.  She pleaded not guilty to a felony charge of wrongful taking or disposing of property.

If convicted, she could face up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.  Her trial date was set for March 23.

Ream-Dickerson and Millsaps were taken into custody by the Wyoming Highway Patrol on Oct. 16 after allegedly stealing a BMW from Millsaps’ roommate in Frederick, CO and leading multiple law enforcement agencies on a high-speed chase through two states.

Police say the chase finally came to an end when the BMW came to a stop just east of Laramie on exit 316 of I-80 after one of the tires was disabled by a Stop Stick.

It was not immediately clear when Ream-Dickerson would be able to travel to Laramie, but Judge Donnell was adamant about a court appearance.

“When we get him here, I want to be sure he stays here,” said Donnell.
