Two of the finalists for the position of dean of the University of Wyoming’s College of Education are scheduled to give public presentations at UW this week.

Ray Reutzel, professor of early literacy and director of the Emma Eccles Jones Early Childhood Education Center at Utah State University, will speak Tuesday, March 10, from 4-5 p.m. in Room 138 of the Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center.

Richard Lomax, professor and associate dean for research and administration at Ohio State University’s College of Education and Human Ecology, will speak Friday, March 13, from 4-5 p.m. at the same location.

The other finalists are Matt Keefer, professor and former chair of the Division of Educational Psychology, Research and Evaluation at the University of Missouri-St. Louis; Verl Pope, professor of counseling and chair of the Department of Counseling, Social Work and Leadership at Northern Kentucky University; and Paul Gore, associate professor of educational psychology and director of the Office of Institutional Analysis at the University of Utah.

Keefer is scheduled to visit UW March 22-25; Pope, March 29-April 1; and Gore, April 1-4. Times and locations of their public presentations will be announced later.
