Plaza Theater-Ask the City

Question:

When will the new theater be completed?

Answer:

Since the theater is being built at the UW Plaza and therefore is being managed by the University of Wyoming, we reached out to them for an update. Although the University of Wyoming manages the land that the theater is built on, it does not own the theater itself. The theater is owned by WyoMovies, which is based in Casper and has additional locations in Cheyenne and Green River.

The theater is currently in the final stages of construction, setting up equipment, etc. and is set to open some time in late April.

Further updates will be provided as they become available.

Ask the City Of Laramie is your chance to send the city that burning question that you have always wondered about such as: “How can I get a city parking permit?” or “Why did my water usage rates go through the roof?”

Please note that the City of Laramie will answer as many questions as possible at their discretion.
