The Laramie Plainsmen concluded Fall Camp with their Maroon and White scrimmage Friday night at Deti Stadium. It finished in a 12-12 tie.

The White team scored twice through the air. The first was a Caleb Eaton to Garrett Worden TD pass. The second was on a receiver pass. Brady Epler found Woodrow Gamboa for a long score.

The Maroon squad scored on a Will Yates run, and then came back on a hail mary from Nate Burman to Chad Browning on the final play of the scrimmage.

Laramie's varsity played the second and fourth quarters on the night.

Plainsmen head coach Clint Reed shared his thoughts on the scrimmage, the night as a whole and more.

Friday night was about more than just the varsity. The freshman scrimmaged for a quarter, as did the junior high seventh and eighth grade teams. It also included the Laramie Youth Football program participating after their practice in a huge 4-12 picture, warm-ups and the BBQ.

The Plainsmen begin the 2017 season Friday, Aug. 25 versus Kelly Walsh at Deti Stadium. Kick-off is at 7 p.m.
