The biggest games of the season are just ahead for the Laramie High School basketball teams. Both the boy's and girl's season comes down to one game.

The Laramie High School teams play in the loser out game at the 4A East Regional Tournament in Cheyenne on Thursday. If they win, their season will continue for at least four more games. If they lose, their season comes to an end.

Laramie Lady Plainsmen
The Laramie Lady Plainsmen (9-14, 2-8) finished the regular season last Friday with a 52-36 loss to Cheyenne Central on Senior Night. Laramie was held to 27 percent shooting by the Indians.

Central broke the game open with a 15-5 second quarter and led 29-17 at halftime. The Laramie girls were unable to rally after that.

The Lady Plainsmen were led by senior Jacqui Pulley with 11 points. Senior Joey Harris added seven points and 17 rebounds.

Laramie concluded the season in a three-way tie for fourth place in the 4A East Conference with Central and Cheyenne South.

The bracket for the 4A East Regional Girls Basketball Tournament was officially released yesterday. The Laramie Lady Plainsmen earned the fourth seed thanks to a tie-breaker. It was Laramie's win on a neutral court over Evanston at the East-West Challenge in Riverton in January that gave LHS the higher seed.

The Lady Plainsmen will re-match against Central on Thursday at Cheyenne South High School, which is the host site for this year's regional tournament. The game will start at 4 p.m.

Laramie Plainsmen
The Laramie Plainsmen (5-18, 2-8) sent their seniors out on a high note last Friday, with a 53-38 victory over the Central Indians.

The Plainsmen took control in the third quarter, when they out-scored Central 18-6. A three-point field goal from junior Andy Pearson early in the second half gave LHS the lead for good. It was the only lead change of the game.

Laramie was led by sophomore Jake Aadland with 16 points. Pearson added 15 points and six rebounds, while senior Drew Burman chipped in ten points. The Plainsmen held the Indians to 26 percent shooting.

That win pushed Laramie into fifth place in the final 4A East Conference standings.

The Plainsmen will have a tough draw in their must win game at the 4A East Regional Tournament. The bracket for the boy's came out yesterday, as well. Laramie faces the South Bison, on their home floor. That game is set to start at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
