Photographers Mark Klett and Byron Wolfe will share their experiences of a collaborative project Thursday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m. in Room 111 of the University of Wyoming Visual Arts Building.

The two have worked together for nearly 20 years. Together, they have published three books, made two interactive multimedia disks, created two websites, and have had many exhibitions.

Klett, a professor at Arizona State University in Tempe, Ariz, was a geologist before becoming a photographer. For more than 30 years, he has had exhibitions nationally and internationally in more than 80 museums.

Wolfe is an associate professor and photography program director at the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia. Wolfe uses photography to connect his intrigue with time, change and place.

“Reconstructing the View” is their most recent effort that considers ideas about time, culture, representation and the construction of perception in the Grand Canyon.
