One of Wyoming's best homegrown bands just landed another big show. Patti Fiasco has been invited to open for Blondie at the Bohemian Nights New West Fest in Fort Collins.

The three-day music and arts festival is free and will feature over 50 bands and 250 art and food booths. Patti Fiasco will play immediately before Blondie on the Mountain Avenue stage Saturday, August 11th at 7 p.m. Blondie is scheduled to take the stage at 8:30 p.m.

Bohemian Nights will mark the second time this year that Patti Fiasco has opened for a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame act. In March, they supported Bon Jovi at the Pepsi Center in Denver. Formed in Laramie by former University of Wyoming basketball player Alysia Kraft, the band has been hailed among the best independent alt-rock acts on the Front Range for nearly a decade.

Another Wyoming native, bluegrass artist Jalan Crossland will be performing at the Old Town Square Stage on Friday, August 10th. Check out the full lineup here.
