Oversize Load Causes Detour in Laramie

Laramie residents and travelers should rethink their routes today if they involve traveling on the south end of 3rd Street, as there is a temporary detour set up.

The detour is the result of another oversize load making its way through town. To accommodate the large vehicle, WYDOT will be making temporary adjustments to the bridge on the south end of 3rd street. The process will take several hours, and there is not yet an estimated time of completion.

The Laramie Police Department mentioned that there will be another oversize load, but that there is not yet an exact date and time on when the next oversize load will be making its way through Laramie.
