Investigators with the Laramie County Sheriff's Department are trying to find out who stabbed a 21-year-old Texas man at a party on Monday night.

Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Captain Linda Gesell says deputies were called to 505 Williams a little after 7:30 p.m. Monday on a report of a stabbing. They found out a 21-year-old man from Houston had been stabbed eight times. His injuries included six stab wounds to his lower back, one in the neck and one on the left side of his back. The man was taken to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, where he was still hospitalized as of Tuesday morning.

Gesell said none of his injuries seem to be life threatening. She said investigators know that an argument started and the people involved went outside, where the man was stabbed. The victim's brother and at least two other people were there when the man was stabbed, but so far no one is talking to investigators about what happened.

The knife used in the stabbing hasn't been found and no one has been arrested. So far none of the names of anyone involved have been released.
