There's no doubt that Laramie is one of the best towns in Wyoming, but one of the Top 10 college towns in the whole country?  According to a new study from the finance social networking site WalletHub, Laramie is the sixth best college city in America.

The study analyzed college towns based on 23 different factors, including quality of education, crime rates and cost of living. Of the 279 college towns in the study, Laramie ranked first for the lowest cost of higher education.

Here's the overall rankings:

1. Oxford, OH (Miami of Ohio University)
2. State College, PA (Penn State)
3. Chapel Hill, NC (North Carolina)
4. Corvalis, OR (Oregon State)
5. College Station, TX (Texas A+M)
6. Laramie (UW)
7. San Luis Obispo, CA (Cal Poly)
8. Stillwater, OK (Oklahoma State)
9. Bozeman, MT (Montana State University)
10. East Lansing, MI (Michigan State)
